The Polar Express

Our trip aboard the Polar Express was fun! Someone read the story to the whole group of kids and adults, then hot cocoa was served. After that we boarded the train and during our ride the conductor punched Ady's initials on her ticket, cookies, chocolate and more hot cocoa was served. The conductor lead us in Christmas songs. At the end of the ride Santa arrived and talked to every child on our train car. Ady sat on his lap (the first year she actually did it!) and asked for some American Girl items. He gave her a silver bell. She was so excited she couldn't stop talking about it!

Our food came to us on a train. Ady thought that was pretty fun!

    

We spent four days at Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells. It was a nice break and we all had a great time. Ady really enjoyed the water slides. She was tall enough to ride all of them except one. We went on the water slides, played games in the arcade, completed the MagiQuest, rode rides at Knucklehead's, and had lunch at Buffalo Phil's. It was a nonstop from the moment we got there. Ady is still catching up on sleep.

Fall is Beautiful!

It has been so nice out! The leaves are falling and Ady has had a blast jumping in piles of leaves. She and Blizzard both think it is great fun! We have been to a pumpkin patch and have been visiting a few places around town, admiring the fall colors. Ady commented the other day that she wishes this weather would last forever.

Fall fun!

Fall is here! The air is cool and crisp. We have been enjoying the season. Last weekend was A Day on the Farm and this weekend was Apple Acres to pick apples. Yum! We see some pumpkin patches in our future as well. This is what we love about fall!  

Ady's 6!!!

Ady is 6! I can't believe it! She is such a sweet, fun little girl! We are so proud to be her mommy and daddy. Ady's birthday was also the first day of school. After school Ady got to open her presents and pick what to have for dinner. She picked green noodles with red sauce, green grapes, and chocolate milk. What a silly girl! We took a nice walk around the neighborhood and finished the evening snuggling on the couch.

Blizzard is here!

Blizzard come home on Saturday. She is the sweetest puppy! She is adjusting well. Aside from not being thrilled about being locked in her crate (she loves being in there as long as you don't close the door!), she has been an easy puppy to care for. We love her already!
